VPI SAMA (stand alone motor assembly). This is a powerful, ultra quiet motor that spins dead on at 300 RPM. It has different pulleys for the different VPI platters. The pulley that is currently installed is matched to the VPI Scout platter (see my other listings).
Second owner, both Audiogon members. I believe this is an older model, but it still works perfectly. The hard rubber feet on the base have been replaced with Sorbothane pads. Cord is the standard 16/3 cord; plug is an after market hospital grade plug.
NOTE: this a beast of a motor, weighing over 20 lbs. No paperwork, but shipped in the original packaging.
