Excellent review James, is there any chance that you could release a 1.5 with an internal power supply for us lucky owners with an SP3? along the lines of the BHA-1 with 2 options so you have a choice?

I'd love to add a 1.5 to my system but with having to buy a MPS-2 as well it really pushes the price up over here in the UK.

James,

I placed an order for the BP 1.5 on the 18th of Sept through your dealer in Dubai. I have not received any update from them. I've called them a couple of times but they are not sure and they need to contact your company.

Just thought maybe you can give me an update instead...

Thanks.
Ash

Hello James,

Sorry to keep bothering you but I still have not heard anything either from you or from your dealer, Hi-Fi City in Dubai. Every time I call them I get told that they will find out and return my call but they never do. Your previous dealer, Seven Seas had 10 times better customer service than these people. Why did you change dealers?

All I need is an update, whether the amp is on the way over, or it will take another week, another month, or even another year. Funny how they were very helpful before I paid the deposit, now they don't even reply my e-mail, let alone return my calls.  :(

Hello vegasdave,

As with my other Bryston amplifiers, the BP 1.5 is a "fit-and-forget" item.

I love it.

Cool. Sounds good. I just have the internal MM stage in the BP6 preamp. It sounds very good to me.

James, can you please let me know how the BP1.5  is factory preset from Bryston when shipped  :thumb:
Are the the switches  2 down 2 up or all the way down.
I just find that the volume level maybe a little low.
See my set up below

ORACLE DELPHI MARK V TURNTABLE WITH GRAHAM PHANTON B-44 TONEARM DYNAVENTOR MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE DRT XV-1S
