They will be very good. Remember Disney owns Marvel AND Pixar. Disney will not be in direct control. They are are just counting the money. Kathleen Kennedy is now President of Lucasfilm - her cred is impeccable as a producer on her own so w/o Lucas involved it's a WHOLE new ballgame. Seriously, she is one of the best in the business. Lawrence Kasdan, who worked on Empire (and Raiders and...) is being brought on board for the 2nd and/or 3rd films. So Disney/Lucasfilm are making very clear signals that they KNOW people don't like the prequels and they are going back to tone and feel of the originals.
Also every major director wants to shoot one, so the pedigree will be high; let's face it Lucas lost his touch as a director after the first one so anyone will be a step up at this point.
