BP-1.5 input resiitance and capacitance ?
« on: 28 Oct 2012, 03:26 pm »
I've been experimenting with alternative resistive loading  for my various MM/IM carts - couldn't find exactly what the MM input was on this phono pre-amp (BTW - REALLY nice sounding piece) - so -got out DVM to measure it . Given the way my meter is responding - looks like there's a capacitor there - may be a small value just as a RF blocker ( real common) - but - without any of the cap switches "on" - what is the input impedance and capacitance of the BP-1.5 MM section ? Is it capacitor coupled like the older ( and still great) BP-1B ?
