NEW! 4" Mini sleeve for DIY. Exclusive to CryoTweaks. This is a specially designed heavy duty 4-inch version of the Z-Sleeve Ultra that is better suited for loudspeaker & DIY applications than the 8" version. Constructed with as many layers as the Ultra (36), but with a greater thickness per each layer. The Mini Z-Sleeve was designed especially for installing inside loudspeakers, an environment where electro magnetism is extremely high. The Mini Z-Sleeve will passively condition and protect the audio signal right before it goes into to your loudspeaker drivers.

I guarantee you will be amazed at the performance of any of the Z-Sleeves or your money back.

Mini Z-Sleeve Price $250.00 each.

Other Z-Sleeves starting at 99.00

see http://www.cryotweaks.com/ZSleeve.shtml for more details and ordering.

Cheers!

Mike

***UPDATE***

I will also be offering exclusively a 4-inch mini Z-Sleeve for around $100 each.   These will be somewhere in between the Standard and Ref 1 Z-Sleeves as far as layers and effectiveness.  These will be available late next week.

The Z-Sleeves are the real deal.  They are a little more awkward to use than Bybees, and they are more expensive.  But the results I have gotten have proven them to be worth every penny.  Their passive application will appeal to those who don't want to insert another connection or solder joint to the signal path, and their sound will impress even those individuals who were not impressed with Bybees.

I back the Z-Sleeves with my 30 day money back guarantee.

Frankly Mike, I've had good results with BOTH Bybees and Z-Sleeves everywhere I've tried this combination, from my power conditioning and digital cables on thru to speaker cabling, even video cabling (S-Video/component) :o :o For me, Bybee's have given me a depth of soundstage presense that I crave for. Add the Z-Sleeves and it's like 20-10 vision at 500 yards. It's down right BIONIC! Regards, Robin

thanks Robin,

I am trying to determine the best sequence and placement of the Bybees and Z sleeves.  Do you use the sleeves before the bybees or after?  Have you tried reversing the order?

One thing is for certain, the Z-Sleeves are much better on analog interconnects than the Bybees.  To me it is probably due to the fact that you don't have to insert them into the circuit as they are totally passive.

The mini sleeves are very, very cool.  I put them inside my loudspeakers, and they did wonders.  The location makes sense for two reasons:

1. it is the end of the signal chain and
2. The magnetic and electromagnetic fields inside loudspeakers are greater than anywhere else in the system.

My next installation will be inside my BP2.

sorry for the shameless plug, but I really am excited about these.

For me Mike, it pretty much depends on the application as to where I like the Z-Sleeve/Bybee sequence. I will wholeheartedly agree with Bybee's in IC's, in fact this is the ONLY PLACE that I haven't had good results using Bybee's. I don't get any results btw. No so with Z-Sleeves tho. Anywho, with my speaker cables, I have Bybee Ultra speaker filters at the speaker terminals and have found that I need the Z-Sleeves at the amp end or as far away as possible from the Bybees. Having them together intensifies the effects of the Z-Sleeves and blooms the clarity to the point of an instant headache. Funny that at my subwoofer, I use a Bybee Slipstream RCA at the Velodyne's terminal with a Z-Sleeve slipped right over the Bybee! :o Go figure. Same holds true for video & power applications. It's ashame that the large Bybee's are side by side in my BP2.5 or I'd consider slipping a mini-Z-Sleeve over each! There's obviously a reason why Jack Bybee wraps his Bybee's with ERS and me thinks Z-Sleeves intensify's that reason. Fact is that I wouldn't be w/o either of these 2 fine products in my system,,,, BUT that's just ME, ymmv. :D Regards, Robin
