In the search for a modestly priced headamp/dac I came across a few products from Peachtree Audio - Decco65 and NovaPre. They seem to check all the right buzzwords. Initially I will be using a headamp/dac with some custom iems (UERMs), so it needs to have a low/no gain setting, a usable volume range and needs to be dead quiet. Later I hope to get a full-size set of cans like the Audeze LCD-2 or HiFiMan HE-500; so, a higher gain setting might be appropriate. Anyone have any experience with the Decco65 or NovaPre? Compared to? Thanks!
