has anyone used this before?  It's a Blaupunkt amp using the pa2150 board.  puts out 150 watts at 4 ohms.

I wonder how you would attach speaker cables with spades to these...

We are at the start of a revolution... I do think that digital will soon be the dominant amp technology... so much cheaper, so much smaller, so much lighter than traditional analog solid state or tubes.  And, the sound will continue to improve (although even today digital sounds really good).  I think the biggest loser will be traditional SS.  There will always be a niche market for tubes.

traditional SS....who cares :)

this is exactly the same technically, the transistors are just inside a chip now... computers started out like 'traditional ss' too

I wonder how this would sound in a home application with, let's say, a 12V 50A switching power supply.  Has anyone tried such a thing?

Techronics has it for $98.35.
Appealing for sure, but a PITA to get/make a supply for it...

It should work fine with a 12v battery and trickle charger.
