  I have for sale my Bamberg audio studio reference loudspeakers. These
loudspeakers are  4 months old and have  300- 400 actual playing hours on
them.These would retail at $6,000, I am Now Asking $2200.   My original asking price was $3,000.I must pay my mortgage at the end of the month. If you are in or near Massachusetts you can come hear them.I am out of
work  or I would not be selling these.This is is pure monitor-tower, bass reflex
loudspeaker all in one elegant enclosure.the Tweeter is a Vifa Scanspeak 1inch
Silk dome tweeterThere are 2 Mid- Bass drivers, the latest 7 inch Aluminum
drivers from Peerless - of Norway.This slim tower has 2 small ports in the
lower back of the speaker you can place these close to the wallOr several
feet out into the room,very easy to place .This is a very musical loudspeaker in
every sence of the word. These loudspeakerThey Are a 88 db efficient speaker
at 4 ohms .The designer Phillip Bamberg is considered one of the most talented
loudspeaker crossover designers for over 20 years,and well known on several
forums. Ask Jim Salk for instance.<BR>He has consulted in design for B&amp;W
Loudspeakers, Thiel ,Salk, SVS , and many others. Bamberg loudspeakers have a
minimalist crossover that is hand tuned to within .5 db per octave , and phase
accuracy 30 degrees or less total for all octaves<BR> of the audio band,this
precision tuning the crossover is very time consuming and rarely done except on
real high end speakers. These loudspeakers they are so coherent with the
vibrancy and you are there accuracy. The imaging is spot on, and the soundstage
is Huge,this is a very natural  balanced loudspeaker with very fast tight
Bass.This Loudspeaker has a beautifull Cherry  laquaer veneer. These
loudspeakers are from a European customers design build, this is Phil Bambergs
reference example pair,the crossover is hand tuned, and matched using very high
quality poly caps, and Jantzen Copper inductors in the crossover ,and all wiring
is high purity Teflon coated Copper . I have compared these to many loudspeakers
in the $6-8k range and None of it 's name brand competitors bettered this
loudspeaker for top to bottom balance And musicality. I have these loudspeakers

I don't know the seller but this is an awesome deal for these speakers.  For the money, I don't think you can find better sounding speakers.  Cool looking as we'll.  Best of luck with the sale.

thanks much for the  endorsement ,you are correct they are a very good highend loudspeaker. I lowered my price for My mortgage is due in 3 weeks.

I am the designer of these speakers. 

The voicing is very neutral IMHO, and the woofers are quite transparent in the way that we hear from good tweeters.  The bass is quite "snappy" too, because there is no crossover other than that with the tweeter.  Distortion is kept low by use of two large 3" vents that fire out the back.  The crossover is extremely phase coherent, which means that the actual cross point is completely undetectable.  This also contributes to a deeper and more precise sound stage and sense of "bloom".

The drivers are different than those used in the Bamberg S2tmm, but they are truly equivalent in grade and performance.  Voicing is pretty identical.  Note that all BESL designs are know for a rich tonal balance, and yet open and neutral.  I am also known in the industry as a crossover guru, and so all my designs exhibit very high caliber engineering. 

Paul is selling these at a terrific price.

I received the Bamberg speakers today. Paul packed these very well and they made the trip across country without damage. The speakers are larger than what the pictures show and even with measurements, the size seems larger. The cabinets are some of the best fit and finish work I have seen and they are truly beautiful to admire.

The sound from the first note caught my attention. The sound stage is huge, detailed and the best imaging I have heard since monitors. The speakers are quick and extended top to bottom. The bass goes way lower than expected, enough to rattle the fireplace, so I will be fixing the fireplace and working on room treatments in the near future. I must say I feel privileged to have found and purchased the Bamberg speakers. Paul sold these way too cheap and I appreciate the deal I got. No, they are not for sale.

Thank you. The speakers became more refined with a few hours on them and the caps charged up. They are never bright, but very extended, huge sound stage, incredible bass and mid range. These are very impressive and the best speakers I have owned. Placement is very easy.
