FS: Technics SL-1210 Mk2 $600 SOLD

Second owner. No DJ use, looks good and runs/operates flawlessly. Light scratches on dust cover and minor scuffs on base. Comes with AT-120E MM cartridge in excellent condition with about 100 hours (just broken-in), a Shure M97xE cartridge, Herbie's Way Excellent turntable mat, and the KAB SX1200 Strobe Disabler (uninstalled).

Paypal users add 3%. See feedback on AGon under Mdpinsky.

The next step in my now-discontinued TT project was to get a Denon DL-103 or, better yet, the ZU DL-103, and run it through an Auditorium 23 Standard step-up transformer.

In order to use the Denon or Denon/Zu cartridge, I bought a new-in-box Jelco SA-750DB with the appropriate armboard, and a phono cable from the Canadian firm Audio Sensibility. To avoid hum with an MC cartridge, its important to either (i) offload the Technics power xformer, or (ii) buy an external PSU, like the $230 KAB PS-1200GX. (To DIY in order to run a MC cart like the Denon w/o hum, I have a Hammond steel xformer case, DH Labs 14 ga. power cord and Wattgate plug for that purpose, available w/o charge.)

And if you're interested, I also have available the Jelco arm w/optional heavy counterweight for the Zu DL-103, the armboard, phono cable and the Auditorium 23 Standard SUT voiced for the Denon DL-103.
