Solder or crimp panels?
« on: 9 Jun 2004, 10:54 pm »
I finally got around to having my midpanels upgraded/modded by the factory.  (BTW, a big thanks to BC for having gone out of his way to keep another satisfied customer!)  I was wondering whether it is better to solder or crimp the panels back into place.  Soldering isn't a challenge for me, but with the mods there are now crimps in place.  I am just wondering if it really matters?!

TIA,

Insert the red wire into the (+) ring terminal lug on the underside of the panel (where the panel is all black and you can't see the traces).  Insert the red w/green stripe wire into the other lug.  Crimp both lugs, then solder.

Thanks Big B.

(also why I made notes for myself, where which went where)
