What is the software in the iPAd?  When I go to Logictech to try and download the Apple version of Squeezecenter, it does not allow it.  So I cannot use the iPad as a controller for SC?  I know it does not contain the music and is not a laptop per se, but is there an ap that makes the iPad look like the remote control?  And can I get it to communicate with my laptop which is windows?

What you want for remote control are apps like Logitech Squeezebox Controller, iPeng for iPad, etc.

Excellent.  I just received an iPad 2 today and besides using mPad for the Salk Streamer I want to have the iPad ready to run SC off my laptop/Touch as well.  Unfortunately I cannot link all this up until RMAF as everything is packed away right now.  But I can download and have at the ready.
