Bought a new battery off amazon ($7 shipped) for my Samsung Focus Windows phone in hopes of leapfrogging to the next phone Gen.

Although there are numerous instructions to be found on the Internet to "condition" Li-ion batteries, most all of the battery and device manufacturers say it is not necessary. They all seem to be in agreement that deep discharge cycles can adversely affect Li-ion batteries and that it is best to frequently charge them whenever possible.

Thanks. Slowly charging, I'll just keep it topped up like my old battery, which I got nearly two years out of. It still works fine, but heavy use off charger quickly drains it now. Looking forward to a good long use off charger again.
