Went and saw Looper today, as much as I was surprised by all the big name supporting cast this film included that don't show up in the TV promos, what really surprised me was the movie credits. Much of this movie was shot in China and never before have I seen so may oriental names in an American film as this one. Had I seen this 1st, I surely would have expected subtitles.  That aside, the movie was OK,,, lots of action and a pretty good storyline & ending. I enjoyed this movie but I wasn't moved emotionally. Guess that's too much to expect from an action movie and none of Willis's bunch of hippie kya mother***er movies very moved me to tears either.  :rotflmao: So this movie, for me, lands in the middle of the heap, 3 out of 5 stars.

Now on to the flick that did open up the floodgates, Trouble With The Curve. I can't help myself, I'm a bigger Clint Eastwood fan now than I was as a kid with his spaghetti western movies. He's still his arrogant self, only older plus now he can act some. Maybe all his movie directing has helped him. And I've very seldom seen an Amy Adams movie that I truly didn't like. Even Justin Timberlake's starting to grow on me.  :duh: Now granted, the storyline was fairly predictable,,, well ok, TOTALLY predictable, but the one thing this movie had was chemistry. And for ole sappy eyed me, it had it's moments that make all the difference in how much I really enjoy a movie. And it's because of them moments that I take a 3.0 out of 5 movie and rate it 4 out of 5... totally for me!  :thumb:

Somewhat actally,,,, in place of "the chair", Clint was at a gravestone while having a beer with his deceased wife. It had me thinking that it's probably where Clint got the idea for "the chair skit".

Just came back watching this movie. I really liked it but my wife slept through it though. I thought it was well acted and directed. Definitely recommended.
