Not if you distract her by selling your SongTowers and giving her the money.

Just get estimates from local woodworking shops for new veneering and leave them around so she can see them.  It will be a lot less than the speakers.  Then have the speakers there and have the old ones at a friend's place while you sell them.  She'll be amazed how much bigger the old speakers look in that new finish :green:

My wife noticed.  That and the old pair of speakers in our office...  Now to sell them or for my friend to get his apartment renovation finished so I could give them to him...

Keep working on it the speakers are still here looking and sounding great, they are kind of difficult to hide tho :o Just got a Stage III Kraken power cord and hooked it up to our BMC C1 amp, made these HT2-TL'S really come alive!! The Kraken took them over the top, they now sound like a pair of $15,000+ speakers.. Jim is as fair as any one could be, he offers Beauty, price and above all sound quality.

My wife is always looking at our account. DARN, she always sees those new audio components. She thinks all I need is a Bose Wave radio.

She isn't totally wrong, a Bose wave would be nice in the garage or the kitchen :violin:

Can I come over and listen sometime? I should have my GR-Research LS-6 speakers finished by this weekend and you can listen to them sometime. You are also invited to the Omaha Home Theater Tour on October 27 in west Omaha. I go by desertdome at AVS.
