I really like the title of "Cheap and Cheerful HiFi". I have listened to many more than $10K systems since I was a teenager, but almost none of them touched my heat and inspired my soul. A good sounding system is not always proportional to the expenses. We need to learn how to identify good sounding equipment, match equipment and distribute the investment properly. Here are the contributions from Musical Paradise. The products that can touch listener's heart.

Option 1:
Musical Paradise MP-302 Class-D Digital Amp with built-in USB DAC $70 + AKG K240 $80 (Headphone System <$200)

Option 2:
Musical Paradise MP-301 MK3 Tube Amp $299 + AKG K702 $299 + PSB Alpha B1 $250 (Stereo System <$1000)

Option 3:
Musical Paradise MP-301 MK3 Tube Amp $299 + MP-D1 USB 2.0 Asyn Tube DAC $500 + Used PSB Alpha or B&W DM / 300 series $200 (Stereo System <$1000)

"gtube" has posted on other forums with the tagline:

Musical Paradise - High quality tube amplifiers and more
Independent R&D, Satisfaction Guarantee!
http://www.musicalparadise.ca

Not sure why the disclosure isn't also included here on AudioCircle, but in any case I would think this should probably be moved to Industry Ads.

Thanks Steve, that's what I was getting at.

Garry has made a very nice post and I'd like him to feel welcome at AC, but it's pretty clear he's Musical Paradise and the thread needs to be moved to Industry Ads.

None of this is his fault as the industry participant guidelines are buried in Archived Circles where no one could see them easily.  I'm sure this is on John's long list of stuff to address when he can get to it.

Edit today:

JohnR has kindly informed me that I was WRONG.  (Just kidding, he was very helpful about it)  Anyway, the info for industry participants has been pretty extensively revised, and I think for the better, and can be found here: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?action=about  I'm going to read it over more extensively tomorrow, but it looks darn good from a quick scan.
