why the QR code?
« on: 25 Sep 2012, 07:14 pm »
Hi gang,

My new 4B SST2 arrived home yesterday.

Why the card with a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code inviting to follow Bryston at Facebook / Tweeter, and suggesting to scan it with my smartphone?
I'm already following Bryston at Facebook.

Does it relate to the warranty? or item registration?

Must I scan it?

Thanks, James.
I thought I would find a card to fill and send to Bryston, together with a copy of the bill-of-sale from my authorized Bryston dealer, in order to qualify for warranty service.
I didn't expect to find a QR code.
