Mine is the silver faceplate version. I used it for about two years with excellent results on a combo HT(5.1)/2ch movies and music system. I think the funest moment loosing power during a storm once but the system kept on going after the powere was out!  We watched the radar and left it on for about 45 mins before turning it off.

Purchased new from AV Science out of NY about 4 years ago or so. I used it for about two years, never had a problem, it has been boxed up since.

Have confidence and plug your whole AV system into this bad boy!
