Hello All,
I caught the bug and I am on the verge of ordering SS8s. I am going to make the Audioholics event in Florida next month and get a first hand listen just to quell the uneasiness of buying speakers through the internet...I have a Bryston 14Bst amp  and a Bryston 1.7 pre/pro that will mate with the soundscapes. I also have a Cary Audio spl03 tube preamp that I use as well. Depending on the sound from each, one of these will head the system with new Salks. I am replacing 15 year old B&W Matrix 803s as my mains. Is there anyone with a similar set up that can give me some reassurance?. Thanks, Pete

i have Salk ht2-tl's with a Bryston 4b-sst2and bp-26 and find it to be a very good match. buying the Salk's over the internet was easy and Jim is very good to deal with, i would reccomend Jim and his speakers to anyone.

I have not heard the combos together, but I've owned a 14BSST (and an SP 1.7 at one point) and have hard the Soundscape 10s and can't imagine they won't work together.  The only thing I'd think the 14BST may not like is a really hard low impedence load like Thiels (which I own).  I'll eventually be moving about 2.5 hrs. South of you.  Let us know how the combo works out.  I might hold on to my 3BST and end up with a pair of Salks in one of the rooms at some point.

OgOgilby uses a Bryston 14BSST2 to power his HT2-TL's and just loves what the amp added to the system.  FYI.

Good to hear that people are having good results with Bryston gear and Salk speakers. Thanks for the input! I am on the hunt to hear Salk speakers next month. Thanks, Pete
