Up for sale is my Balanced Power CPC power conditioner. It is in excellent condition, rated 8/10 only because of age.
This is not a stock CPC. It was built at BPT with a number of significant upgrades that place its sonics and flexibility well above the stock model. These include:
- Lo-No (ultra low noise) balanced power transformer to provide 2.5A of balanced power to 4 of the 10 outlets (great for source gear) - this is a smaller version of the same quality transformer used in the "BP" true balanced power models (the other 6 outlets are filtered as described below)
- Two Oyaide SWO-XXX Gold and Palladium plated outlet receptacles, or four total outlets, two on the balanced power side and two on the 15A filtered side (these retail at $110 each)
- Magnetic thermal circuit breaker on/off switch, superior to original standard power switches
- Bybee Quantum Purifiers
- Stillpoints ERS Cloth throughout
- 15 Amp High Current filter
- High current surge suppression and line filtering
- Parallel filter network on each duplex
- One Hubbell premium GFCI outlet (on balanced power side), and
- Damping sheet material on the casework throughout
All of these upgrades (which total about $1000) makes this CPC-BP hybrid a real killer in the power conditioner arena. I've been very happy with it. Selling only because I frankly have too many power conditioners
and the few pieces I have in the front end of my system makes this a bit of overkill. I'm offering it first on AC before listing it on Audiogon one week from now.
