my 1 tb drives are full, and before trying a real NAS with even bigger capacity, I would like to have these hdd attached to the bdp1.

I have the 2 TB passport USB powered and no issues as well as the WD My Book 3TB powered unit and no issues.

2 WD 2tb Passports up and running, without issues so far. Ought to be enough for the near future..
