Seems several members have the nc1200, yet other than a few one line comments, no one has posted a thorough review or comparison to the nc400, other than "it is subjectively better"...The silence is deafening.

Don't know about the others, but I haven't had either the 400 or 1200 based amps in my system for more than one night so I wouldn't feel right doing a full comparison. I have noted that both are sensitive to tweaks like power-cords and interconnects, so some optimization should be done and that would take time. I also didn't get a chance to A/B them in my system, so a direct comparison is also difficult for me. I will likely get another chance with the 1200 in my system, but I got a note from Jason saying I've been removed from the tour as I've already heard his 400s, so now a direct A/B in my system is out of the question
