I am selling a Don Allen 45 tube monoblock. I am the second owner. The amp has no functional or cosmetic defects. Don Allen has a cult following among audiophiles and there is much to read about him on AudioAsylum.
I will rate the amps a 6/10 simply because they appear to be more a DIY nature, and I believe in full disclosure. The amps are dead quiet, they have no scratches at all, but the symmetry, positioning, etc are all a little off as you would expect from an amp of this build.
I have used this amp with great satisfaction with Zu and Tekton High Efficiency speakers.
