I am thinking on getting the supercharged songtowers ,,my current speaker is rc-70....with there be a significant upgrade in sound compared to what I have now...I have been talking Jim He says the supercharged will beat my old speakers easily...I am just wondering if anyone on here has the supercharged ones and can give some opinions...my receiver is sc-55 and xpa3.I can't find any reviews of people with the supercharged version so I am hoping to hear back from someone here

The super-charged ST's will easily outperform the RC-70's IMO.  The Salk's have much better clarity, especially in the midrange, and the bass will be much tighter and controlled.  The highs aren't fatiguing either like the Energy's can sometimes be. 

For the record, this is just my opinion so don't treat it as anything but. I also mean no offense if anyone owns these speakers; my intent is not to claim they are bad, because they aren't; the SC-ST's are just better IMO.   YMMV, of course.

I've got the SCSTs, they sound great, but I can't compare them to your speakers since I've never heard them.
They look amazing and have a very small footprint. They dig fairly deep considering the size of the drivers. If you're ever in San Antonio, you can listen to mine.

I have never owned Energy before but my sister has. She has owned a full Energy Veritas. While her system sound clean and punchy, I felt that they are cold and analytical.

Again, not sure what you guys are implying, but I am not walking on egg shells.  I've posted in many threads on AVS and ruffled more than a few feathers.  Life goes on.

No problem fellas.  I know I can/have ruffled some people's feathers, but it isn't my intent to.  We all have differing opinions when it comes to audio, so it's inevitable quarrels occur, but I'd prefer they didn't if I had a choice.  I hold no grudges, but others may not take it as lightly as I.  I can only hope everyone understands it's just audio and there is more important things in life than online debates about luxury's we're fortunate enough to have.  Good cheers and beers to all!

FWIW, my regular/non-SC Songtowers replaced Energy RC-10s.  No contest: the Songtowers are better in every respect.  My wife agrees (and she's not into the whole speaker compulsion hobby like me).

I know I'm not talking about the same speakers as you, but they are so close I felt I had to comment.
