I don't believe you can do any better than Lifatec Silflex Glass Toslink cables.  High precision 470 strand borosilicate glass fibers manufactured in Germany.  20" to 6 ft. lengths run $60 to $79.  Paying any more only buys audiophile fluff.

I have a 1 meter length of this with the armored casing that I don't use any more. It is wonderful, but I have no more toslink interfaces. I found it sounded at least as good as a very good coax digital IC- very smooth yet detailed. I'll probably kick myself later on, but if you PM me I'll sell it for $50 shipped.
