What are the options for the RM30C besides the FST?

6.5" megawoofers? Sound coat?

Are they basically the same as for the RM30M?

He gets in at 11. And I'm too impatient. I don't want to leave a message. I just want to order these things TOMORROW already....

Options are the same plus I think Jim Romeyn has a mod that he offers capping the bottom of the speaker where the dual passive radiators are. He feels this improves bass clarity.  You would have to confirm this with Jim.

By the way, FST and soundcoat are standard on RM30's.  Basically, finish, megawoofer, capacitor, and wiring are options.

He blocks off the slot for the passive radiators? How is the speaker supposed to make bass then? If you won't be using these with a subwoofer, I recommend against this, though you should have the PRs there anyway just for the adjustable bass damping feature.

Anyone considering that "mod", might want to check with Brian for more information as to how it affects the bass response.

I do not recommend capping or sealing the PR slot on the RM30 M or C.  Bass quality is quite clean and tight to begin with.  Making the RM30 sealed will roll off bass at 12dB/oct below 80Hz.

I guess the only reason to do that would be if you knew you'd be crossing over at 80Hz to go to your sub.  I was thinking of crossing the RM30C over as low as 40Hz.
