Ultimate Ears 200's...a great bang for twenty bucks IEM!

I grabbed some 24 hour sale last week from Newegg and got the UE200 for $12.99 down from $19.99. Just got them today lots of choices for fitting them especially if you have
small ear canals. The small and extra small tips of the 5 pair were the smallest I've seen ever, anywhere...LOL...I used the Mediums as always and got a fantastic seal.

If your new to IEM's its imperative to try all tips until you get a nice tight, not overly tight seal. With a good seal the low end can take shape, without a good seal you'll never
really hear how good your new IEM's sound. These are another great deal from UE in my opinion. Great bass without being overtly boomy. I love electronic music lately and if you ever
heard a good Kraftwerk piece, or Shpongle in my case, they serve this music up nicely with great definition while retaining the musicality of the piece. In other words "they can rock".
Great buy for me and number 20 something in my collection, although I have lost count....lol!!!

Not bad for the money but be forewarned, these are VERY bright.

I don't hear them as bright at all and I'm wondering if its my hearing. Hibuck mentioned that two pair of cans i really liked were too bright for him, the HE-5LE's being one. Maybe all those cymbal hits I've sat right next to over the years deadened my ability to hear high end accurately.
