I own and like a TORII III so I am not saying anything bad about Decware, but they lost me at ultralinear.

FWIW The very best all round tube amp I have ever heard are 50w P/P U/L EL156 (earlier version used KT88).

Is that $5500 a pair or per mono? $11k for a stereo Decware amp... thats not cheap!

I have always wanted to hear one of the top Decware amps. I still haven't come across one at a show or in a store (used), or at a friend's house.

I would like to see Decware put all of their love into a single ended triode amp someday. I think pentodes are their true love though, and that's cool.

Would be great if Decware do a GM70 SET amp around 20 - 25W

His design philosophy is very good.

They're $5596./monoblock

With high efficiency speakers of 96dB and above, 12W should be more than enough.

These monos are more suitable for those who are stuck with uber expensive low efficiency speakers.
