Hi James, Chris,

Would it be possible to wakeup/powerup the BDP1 remotely? Max2 won't load when in powered off state and is looking endlessly for the machine. Mpod/Mpad at least give some feedback by showing "not connected to MPD server". Would be great if one could have a software power button, fireup the BDP1 remotely and connect.
have a look at the idlestate of the Marantz Na7004 in it's web app, and note the instruction below. Special mode  of standby-setting is necessary for remote powerup:

Due to the hardware configuration of the bdp this just isn't possible.
