I'm looking for something to roll up my headphone extension cable when I am not listening. As opposed to hand-coiling it, with the inevitable tangles and kinks after a few times, or winding it around some kind of form.
Audiophile grade, of course, would be best...

Closest thing I have been able to find so far is this (they also make an instrument version of this, which is probably very close to what I want -- not sure about the "brushes" they use to manage the rotation, though -- is that how all these retractable-type reels work (power, air, lubricant hose, etc? Guess they do need some type of rotating coupling in there...)
http://www.stageninja.net/audiocables/retractablecables-26.htmlThere are some available for short, 3.5 mm type cables (not what I want), and this (which is close, but too short):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_hVOFpa31w&feature=relatedThere is at least one online tutorial about making a retractable USB cable device by converting a retractable dog leash. However, most of those are either flat tape or very small cable.
Ideally, I'd like to find/make something that will hold the 20' extension cable I use with my HD600's.
