This is the place to get it off of your chest about anything related to bass.  The only rules are no personal attacks and it has to be related to bass.

Well, I generally listen to acoustic bass as a reference.  Somebody know at what Hertz the lowest note of an acoustic bass is?  On your rig, in your room, does the note boom or sound clean?

Acoustic Stand-Up Bass?  What tuning. For the record, a Double Bass (Stand-Up) is 31hz in standard tuning, for an acoustic Bass with the same tuning as an electric Bass, 41hz.   

Depending on the recording my system does produce clean bass where notes do bloom, then decay.  Again, very recording specific.
