I've been away from the computer for most of the summer, and just got back to Salt Lake City.
Tomorrow night will be a good concert, Iron & Wine are popular here, so it will be too many people for too small an area.  But I will ignore that to catch Kathleen Edwards! 
She caught my ear with this song from her 2003 debut, Failer.
Song title is Six O'Clock News.  Though the guitar solo is flawed, it is still tremendous by Jim Bryson.

Iron & Wine puts on an excellent show.  I saw him perform this summer in Chicago.  For his encore he came out without his supporting band and sang a killer version of Trapeze Swinger.
