Pretty cool. Reminds of an HP product I worked with in about 1997. They had designed a until that had an embeded web server and an ethernet port. It accepted sensor input and could control several relays. HP was targeting utility companies so they could remotely monitor and control things like natural gas systems and such via the web. I wired our demo unit up with a temperature sensor and could check the temperature of my server room via a browser. Not a big deal these days but it was pretty cool for '97.
