Perhaps it is appropiate if I point to some Swedish recording companies known for their excellent records usually capturing both music and acoustic environment
thus very suitable for OB speakers. The two companies I think of is Proprius and Opus 3.
I can truly recommend 'Jazz at Pawnshop' and 'Cantate Domino' from Proprius both will be available in SACD transformation.
Both these records were classics already in the Vinyl era. You won't come more into a jazzclub than you do in 'Jazz at the Pawnshop.
You can get that record on the Amazon. It is a bit expensive though. You can download it from Itunes or Emusic.com for much cheaper.
If downloading I recommend the First Impression version which has the 'in-the-mood' setting half minute of clubnoise before the music begins.
This is OB music and one of 'All Time Classics'.
The same goes for Cantate Domino which is more in the Classical and Christmas genre.
Should I pick some tracks for download I would choose:
'Den signade dag' (Oh Day full of Grace) with soprano Marianne Melnäs and
'Advent' with Alf Linder on organ and Oscar Motet Choir
Another nice track from Proprius is:
'Vattenkanon' (Water Canon) with Gothenburg Chamber Choir available on download.
From Opus 3 you could in fact choose any record such is the quality of the recording.
Jan Eric Persson stays with Blumlein microphone technique and publishes on Vinyl and SACD.
To get an impression get:
'A selection from Test-records 1, 2 & 3' Opus 3 SACD it is available on Amazon
For some test tracks which will leave you with a smile on your face try (that is if your speakers are good though):
'You're the one I want' and 'Il camello e il dromedario' from Musica Nuda - Live à FIP Bonsai Music available for download on Itunes
Just to Enjoy !
