Red Wine Audio-Modded Squeezebox 3What more can be said about this great network audio player. The RWA SB3 sounds great as an analog player and works perfectly as a digital transport. Excellent condition (8/10) and perfect working order.
The following RWA mods were done:
• Replace dac chip to "KE" version of the PCM1748
• Installation of new gold-plated RCA jacks with teflon insulator
• Hard-wire output of dac directly to new RCA jacks via Auricap signal capacitors
• Replace stock analog power supply cap with low ESR Panasonic FC type
• Replace power supply decoupling caps to the dac with Black Gate NX-Hi-Q caps
• Battery power supply
