Escalante Design Fremont (MSRP $18990)
I bought these on my 50th to be my last set of speakers and I couldn’t have been more pleased with their performance.  These are true full-range speakers; I have not once felt the need to add a subwoofer.  I’m not the only one who has felt this way; the Fremonts have been reviewed and purchased by a number of well-respected reviewers (see http://www.escalantedesign.com/reviews.html).  According to Greg Weaver (Stereo Times), “I got a loudspeaker with stunning top-to-bottom resolution, power, and lifelike presentation. In other words, one of the most satisfying music listening experiences I have ever had.”  This pair of Fremonts has a beautiful gloss black automotive finish and is in excellent condition (8+/10).  I am only selling the Fremonts because I have moved to a much smaller place.  I no longer have the original shipping crates, but I am willing to deliver these personally within ~100 miles of San Diego; shipping is possible, but buyer will arrange and pay for new crates and shipping.  COD or certified check only (PayPal offers no buyer or seller protection on local/personal deliveries).

Do these have the upgrade cross-over? If not do you know how much it is to have this done?

These do not have the crossover upgrades.  I believe that they cost $1000, but that might be negotiable.
