Does anyone know if there is a high quality subsonic filter kit available?

My current preamp has one built in, and although it is a pretty damn good unit, I will be upgrading soon and need to do something to alleviate all those subsonics on those vintage LPs I have in my collection.

More than likely, those subsonics you are hearing are resonances that should be dealt with properly. There's a few things that could be causing them

- non compliance between your cartridge and tonearm (check out the following for an explaination: http://www.theanalogdept.com/cartridge___arm_matching.htm)
- airborne or platform borne vibrations (fix: better suspension aka Ginko Cloud clone or added mass aka sandbox)
- bad coupling between record and platter (fix: better platter mat or a record clamp)

Of course you can implement a subsonic filter, but personally I would rather fix the true cause of the problem.
