Interestingly, the Bond films have never really showcased any hi-fi systems to my knowledge, that's seems a bit odd since they have such iconic music associated with the franchise.

How about some pics to make it fun and help us visualize it.

B&O for sure. And when you open the CD drawer, a gun pops out, courtesy of Q.  :D

Interesting choice but totally wrong old chap. James Bond is a 100% British patriot so his stereo will be 100% English.

Maybe something like this to get started (it can also be used as a weapon):

Nah...it would have to be B&O. For some crazy reason, I seem to recall that they showed his residence once (perhaps in the begining of Live and Let Die or The Man With The Golden Gun) and there was a B&O stereo in his apartment. I just remember Moneypenny giving some clothes to this italian female spy-hottie who was hiding in the closet.
And besides, he already broke with the 100% british gear buy driving (and destroying) BMW's in 2 of the pierce brosnan Bond flicks.

A B&O.  Not fussy.  Looks good.  Ease if use.  He's no hobbist.

His speakers would be from the Tannoy line, the top model being The Westminster.   (nice idea for a thread!)

Depends on which Bond era.

Old school Bond was class and style. Lynn/Sondek?

Middle era was pure gadgetry. B&O or similar.

Newest is going closer to Old school. Mac comes to mind - something similar, but from the UK.

I agree with different era's different systems.  I was just thinking Connery and the Westminster Royal.  Craig seems too edgy for a B&O system, seems something with a little more brawn would be in order.

Westminster Royal
