Hi guys. I'm regretfully selling my NS-15 power amp from Niteshade. I had envisioned it being my backup amp or the power in a secondary system but I'm realizing I just don't like having it sit around unused.
I'm the third owner and the amp itself looks great. It's painted a very cool darkish red and while the clearcoat does show some hairline scratches here and there, the finish is a VERY conservative 7/10...more like 8/10.

It features the tunable feedback knob on the back which is a great touch for those who like to tinker with their sound. There's plenty of power and great tone from the included stock tubes (Sovtek 6L6WXT+) and I even got a little more oomph and smoothness from a pair of Gold Lion KT66's which I'm also including. The GL's have at most 10 hours on them and I'm not sure about the Sovvies (came with the amp). I'm including a Tung-Sol 6SN7 tube -- which is one of the ones recommended by Niteshade -- and I can even throw in another gently used one at my asking price.
For anyone wanting to get into the SE sound on the inexpensive side, I can't recommend this amp highly enough. Here are the specs from the NS site:
5U4 or 5AR4 Rectification available
15 watts/channel solid state, 10 watts/channel with tube rectification
Dual inputs with an incredibly smooth volume control (upgrade shown)
6SN7 Input tube and 6L6 output tubes
Extra heavy power transformer
Tunable feedback
Automatic biasing
FYI, this amp has SS rectification, only one set of inputs, and no volume control but I *think* the alternatives to all of these are available as an upgrade from Niteshade if desired.
I'm asking $400 obo plus shipping CONUS. I prefer PayPal for payment and if anyone is curious about my feedback, I'm under irishsammy on Agon.
Thanks everybody for looking and please PM me with any questions.
