SOLD

I am selling my Loricraft PRC-4 record cleaning machine. The machine is in great condition, there is just some discoloration on the brass tonearm wand, which tends to happen over time. It comes with a near full spool of the nylon thread.

Suction from the pump is exceptional and operates quiet (compared to VPI, Nitty Gritty). I have owned a Nitty Gritty 1.5 and VPI 16.5 and in my opinion the Loricraft vacuums/cleans much better than slot machines.

It also includes the original blue polyester cloth dust cover.

My asking price is $1130 plus shipping. I would prefer to restrict sales to the US given the weight of the machine. I can accept Paypal, money order or check (will need to clear before shipping). I'm sorry but no price drops on this.

I'm happy to provide feedback on other hifi forums and ebay.

Mine is great, a necessity!

Some observations and assumptions:

You have the higher cost wood base, right?
You have the model with the higher suction than older machines, like mine.

Brass polish will have this thing looking like new. Everytime you use it you will feel like a million bucks.

Can you confirm if it only works on 110 V or can be converted to 220V

Thanks

Hi Vinay, sorry I do not want to send it outside the USA given the size and weight.

Paul- I'm not sure on the points you made, when I purchased it, it was simply "PRC-4". It vacuums like a champ. Thank you for the kind words!

edit: still for sale

Good luck with your sale. These things virtually never show up for sale, no one gets rid of them (i.e. you can't have mine!).

I own a PRC-4 and it is the best recording cleaning machine I have ever used. The PRC-4 is the one with the more powerful vacuum suction. I also own a VPI-17 and the Loricraft is hands down a better machine that cleans more thoroughly. I have recleaned records originally cleaned on the VPI and noticed the difference.

Someone is going to be very happy. :D

I will get shipped to a USA address only and will ask my brother to bring it here when he next visits India. Let me know if there is a 110/220 volt switch
I will buy it in case it can work on 220 volts

Thanks
