Ghost Rider movie?

I just read on the SciFi wire that there's a movie based on the Marvel Comics "Ghost Rider" book.  No word on casting or dates, but I really liked the 2nd series book.

I'd heard that in the past, but I think that isn't accurate anymore.  Not that I'm sure, but I thought I'd heard he won't be in the flick.

Have you seen anything more up to date?
