Where else? The Internet. In this case forwarded to me by my wife, who in her wildest dreams would never consider buying my one of these chairs.

That's a cool looking chair. $11,000 USD seems a little steep for me though. Sure you got the price right? Wow! Bet that is a comfy chair.

I was actually considering a new chair as my next upgrade though . . . .  got any alternative suggestions that are a little easier on the pocketbook?

The price was mentioned in the Internet article. The chair is not yet being shipped according to the article. I can't point to alternative chiars, but I believe they exist. If you're imterested, you might find them through and Internet search.

While I wouldn't pay that for a chair, having a very comfortable listening chair is an extremely important part of the equation.

Who cares if your system sounds good if you can't be comfortable listening to it!!

I use an Ekornes Stressless Jazz Chair and Ottoman and love it!!

I moved my old Flexsteel (Chicago model) to the basement (for the secondary system to have something comfortable) after almost 10 years.  It is still really comfortable - pic below - I paid about $900 and I think today it would be a drop over $1k.  Not a power chair, like the new ones though

The new chairs I got are power and made by Palliser.  I got one with one arm and one armless due to a space limitation.  They are almost as comfortable as the Flexsteel, but they do look nicer.

No Ikea chair has ever felt like an Ekornes!

I can't speak for Ikea but I still have an old Ekornes and I loved it.  The arm clamps wore out so I no longer use it on a regular basis but it was one of the most comfortable chairs I owned.  And the ottoman is a must.

I would enjoy this in the front of my gear, but unfortunately an 8 foot ceiling is not high enough. *sigh*
