Being an old biker type, I use dielectric grease on just about every electrical connection in sight.
Assuming that you don't blob it on like an idiot can anyone think of a reason why a shot of CRC contact cleaner followed by a coating of Permatex dielectric grease on audio connections should NOT be used?
I've asked elsewhere and the answer was that everyone uses Caig deOxit followed by other Caig products but that's not really an answer.
