Is there any signal loss even minimal or any sound  deterioration of any kind if I use the tape out of my BP6 to the headphone amp ? This will allow me to listen to any source connected to the preamp with the headphone amp, as compared to using the output of say the BCD-1 or BDA-1 directly ?  I know normally, the less connections, the better, but not sure in this case.

Thanks James, glad no quality loss, as  I find it very convenient this way.

One more question:  how about using the second pre out on the BP6 to connect the BHA-1. I guess I'll end up with two volume controls ? Recommended or not ?

Not recommended as the level to the BHA changes with the volume control setting on the BP-6.
