Use a screw driver or a dime to remove the brass insert and the mic holder should fit. All my Behringer mics have that insert.  Hope this is correct for yours.

I dont appear to be getting any input in the Left/Right meter when I run the "Check Levels calibration" I also dont know what the Phantom button is for on the USB card.

I also dont know what the Phantom button is for on the USB card.

Condenser microphones require power to function.  If the microphone does not have an internal battery, it requires +15V to +48V phantom power for it to work, so your phantom button will need to be in the ON position.

Got it - I just read that in the sound card's manual. Using the left input channel (instead of right) seems to have done the trick. I'm getting left+right readings now. Woo hoo !

I'll resume tomorrow. I still think something is off here (my speakers shouldn't play that deep!)

Looking good :thumb:

Microphones will pick up ambient noise that you may not even be aware of. Low frequency noise by machinery, passing traffic etc. If you calibrated your levels then that's fairly low output, so you may need to increase the playback level (within reason, be careful).

I had the same issue and the same solution. No idea why. Oddly enough when using Fuzzmeasure the reverse happens.

Well, it looks like the measurement graph is roughly the same regardless of the amount of background noise. Even if I clap my hands right by the microphone (although I do get a clipping error).

There's something like 15 dB variation between those curves. And they stop at 22 Hz. I'm sorry but I have no idea what you're doing now...

Yes, one of them was recorded at a lower volume. I was clapping and making additional noise during the sweep see if it registered. I got an error warning regarding clipping, but no visual representation in the graph afterwards. I also tried using manual EQ on the receiver and setting bass to -6, and treble to +6 to try and throw off the results.  herm...
