This is a pretty good deal.  The ad sais that only 1 coupon can be used per day, but spending $20 as i intend to do means I can go there 2x to buy stuff on the cheap.

Haven't been there in years but think its a cool place for the stL vinyl crowd.  I have to say though, that back in the day when i could only afford used LP's, the ones bought there were the dirtiest i ever came across.  Dust literally came out of the sleeves, but that just made me more proficient with the Nitty Gritty machine

I've visited Record Exchange twice, and probably won't return. Their classical section is a disaster and impossible to navigate with all the crap they've thrown up against customers trying to find anything. I suspect they put their best stuff up for internet auction anyway.

Last time I went to Vintage Vinyl, one of the sellers told me about how they have a bunch of good stuff I would like....on eBay. Well, the hell with VV. Why should I visit the store if they hold out their best stuff for eBay?

And people wonder why B&M record stores are going out of business?

Funny, Jean's perpetually cleaning and stocking records, he just has to contend with the "dust of time" and with a shoestring crew. And yes, the really really good stuff goes to auction. It's hard to navegate the place because he gets dumped on constantly. The racks literally overflow and the aisles become ad hoc storage. Crawling over them is the big downer. I (unlike some) am OK with it. Part of the hunt, contending with clutter. I'd hate to walk in there and bitch about no records to peruse!
