Need help pricing an amplifier

Hello everyone!

This is not a sale add

I have a Bryston 3B ST Series amplifier that is literally sitting in a box collecting dust.

It was my father's and he passed away a few years ago leaving me with 3 fully functioning audiophile grade systems.

Up until now I haven't really touched them but I am preparing to buy a house and since the new house is going to be for dads grandkids i think he would be OK with me selling it off.

What I need help with is pricing. This is a good quality 0 defect 2009 Bryston 3B ST with a 20 year Warranty (expires 2019). I want it to go to a good home and ebay didn't seem the best way to do that.

I have seen prices for this from 800-1250 (sold) but don't know the current market.

I also need to have 2 approved posts to post in the for sale section so this helps that too!

Can you guys help me out with pricing or am I completely lost in this room?

Also is there a way to search sales adds?

Thanks!

When logged in to the forum, click on "search" across the top.

Type "Bryston 3B" in the search box (without the "" marks).
Click the check box (uncheck it) searching all forums at the bottom of the search page.
Expand out the list of forums to search in (all the forums will be listed with empty check boxes next to each).
Click to place check boxes in the "For Sale: Amplification" and "SOLD/Too Old" forums (this will search current and ended threads).
Click the search button.

Best of luck!

Okay, just curious.  But since there is no actual word "stero", it is open to interpretation whether it means "Stereo" or "Steroids"!

Its what i called my dads system when i was a toddler. The Stero. When it was to loud I would say Too Much Stero.

When i played music too loud in my car my dad would say "Ok to much stero..."

Sold mine - which was recently back from Bryston with a tune up and bill of health for $950.  If it's in working condition, with no issues and no damage, I'd say a price between $850 and $950 is fair.
