Good movie. Solid 4/5. The big name stars (Murray, McDormand, Willis) are in quirky support roles and take a backseat to the kids. A very pleasant way to spend a few hours on a hot afternoon.

Is it really a comedy? I often want to kick Wes Anderson in the balls. His movies can be so melancholy and depressing. He never smiles, and in a lot of his movies I think no ones smiles at all. It makes a strange feeling.

To me he is one of the most important figures in cinema ever, but my shoe could still find their way to his nuts a lot of the time.

The peer pressure I feel from his movies trying to force "coolness" by being mediocre, quiet, and weak is sort of very annoying. It is good to watch and unrealistic to live (that is why you watch it, no one is that way in real life 100% of the time).
