Original owner offering an Audio Note P2 SE amplifier for sale. I've owned this original and unmodified single ended tube amplifier since 1996. In the years I've owned the amp it has been completely trouble free and has functioned faultlessly. The amp performs with the signature musicality Audio Note amplification is known for. The 18 wpc amp is powered by two 6SL7 driver tubes and four 6L6/5881 power tubes. The P2 SE has one set of inputs and 8 and 4 ohm outputs. Furnished with a single stereo volume control, the amp can be used without a pre-amp although using a pre-amp is generally preferred.
The amp is in excellent condition, especially considering its age. Well cared for, the black acrylic faceplate is without scratches. Upon close inspection of the amp I found only a minor scratch on the left rear side of the amp cover. I've very conservatively rated it 7/10 for age only, but it is closer to 8/10.
I'll supply the new owner with three sets of 6SL7 and 6L6/5881 tubes which are used, but should have many hours of life left in them:
One pair of Tung-Sol 6SL7GT black glass tubes (boxes dated 1943), one pair of Brimar 6SL7GT tubes, one pair of RCA 5691 tubes (56-48 date codes).
One quad of Reflector 6N3C-E tubes, one quad of Tung-Sol 5881 (reissue) tubes, one quad of Philips 6L6WGB tubes.
In addition, the original stock power cord will be included.
