Another quick question while I iron out my HT set-up.

Curious as to how close a 9BST upgraded to SST would be to a stock 9BSST in terms of sound.
Thinking it could replace a 2BLP (center) and BR60 (surrounds), currently have a 4BSST for the fronts.

Any feedback would be grateful.

Once again doing some digging and James can correct me on this, but from what I’ve been reading the major internal change with the 9BST to the SST was mostly the output devices, so can one assume a 9BST upgraded by service to a 9BSST would be very similar sonically?

If so I guess my game plan would be to keep the 4BSST for  the fronts and replace the 2BLP and B60R with an upgraded 9BST or a 9BSST, which could of course allow a 7.1 set-up in the future.
