Burned out bulb...
« on: 30 May 2004, 01:56 am »
 My Stratos has a burned out bulb  . Does anyone know where to find replacement bulbs? Radio Shack was clueless. In case you haven't seen one it has a flat top much like Frankenstein's head and connects into a spring-loaded BNC-style receptacle. No wattage is given. Any    ideas    other than calling the big man who is probably celebrating race day?

Thanks W.C.! I checked out HD and somebody offered an on-line store to buy the bulbs. Now I have another question. They offer the bulb in different amps. Does the Stratos use the .025 or the .052 amp?

Check the old bulb. If you can't see it, call Klaus.

when my first buld died I figured that it wasn't detrimental to the sound, so why bother?  I had a dead light in one mono for a year and it didn't throw the sound stage off by one bit ;-)

Klaus then put the blue LEDs in when they were upgraded, so now I have some dim blue floor lights behind my speakers when I turn off all the lights in the room.
